Summer 2018 is in full swing and when we think of summer, we think of three things: barbecues, festivals and drinks! Here at Beauty Bae, we’ve put together this handy roundup of our three best UK festivals of the year which is sure to cure your FOMO…

With Glastonbury taking a well deserved break, it is up to our ‘Top Three’ festivals to make up for its absence and we don’t think UK festival goers will be disappointed!

1) Wireless on 6 July to  8 July at Finsbury Park, London

J.Cole, Stormzy & DJ Khaled are your 2018 headliners making this the ultimate summer festival of 2018! Look, Wireless did get some stick over not including many women in their lineup, but they’ve learned from their mistake, apologised and actioned it by creating an all-female stage. Nothing says #GirlPower like that. Who else can you expect? Giggs, Rick Ross, Big Shaq, DJ KHALED (- “another one”), French Montana, Post Malone, Big Sean. Wiley and Wretch 32. Basically, it’s going to be ‘Unforgettable‘.

2) Reading and Leeds Festivals on August 24-26 at Little John’s Farm, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds

Nothing says “festivals that have something for everyone” like Reading and Leeds… This year, they’ve pushed the boat out and secured a diverse line-up with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Kings of Leon, Dua Lipa, Sum 41, Travis Scott, Skepta, The Kooks, The Vaccines, Fallout Boy and Panic! At The Disco taking to the stage. Linkin’ Park’s Mike Shinoda is also said to be making appearance… Something tells us these artists will add the fuel that’ll put festival goers’ Sex On Fire. Here’s hoping Big Shaq – who will also be performing – brings some ice along because ‘Man’s Not Hot’.

3) RiZE Festival (formally known as V Festival) on August 17 & 18 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire

Festival goers can enjoy all the current and old-school classics from artists such as Craig David, Bastille, Stereophonics, Plan B, Sean Paul, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man… Rita Ora, Liam Gallagher and James Bay have cleared their holiday schedule it seems, because they’ll all be stopping by at this one too! I mean, if we were given tickets to this one, we won’t stop going on about it for at least ‘7 Days’!Look, we’re not saying much apart from: Jay Z headlined V Festival last year… Expect big things.

So, that concludes our ‘Top Three Festivals of 2018’… It’s safe to say we’re in for a long, hot Summer!
