Manchester United. I’ve supported them since the Alex Ferguson days, then took a hiatus when he retired as manager. We then started playing abysmally and went down in the league (which is why I took the hiatus in the first place). 🙈
I remember going on the tour back when Alex was manager and seeing the stands, the pitch and the changing rooms. It was a great day at Old Trafford for little me, back when I was a child. 👧🏻
Well, thankfully – Jose Mourinho (the new manager of Man U, former Chelsea manager) and the team are finally showing signs of regaining our former glory and I couldn’t be prouder. 🙏
I’ve attended two of their matches this season and the atmosphere was incredible both games. 🥅
Anthony Martial. Pogba. Ibrahimovic (my personal favourite player). Mkhitaryan. They’re all legends in their own rights and today was no different as the audience got to see just how legendary Martial and Pogba in particular are – scoring two goals in the space of TWO MINUTES (with a few minutes to spare) against Middlesborough. BOOM!
Come on you REDS! ⚽️ 🏃
Naturally, I celebrated Manchester United’s latest win and the additional (but very vital) three points to this season’s leaderboard with a selfie of myself in a Manchester United shirt… As you do! 🤾♂️
I could’ve brushed my hair for these but – what’s a hairbrush when you’re busy watching two teams of 11 men a team kicking a ball from one side of the pitch to the other for 90+ mins? Priorities, guys and dolls… Priorities! 💁🏻
Also, AS IF by magic Fergie ends up coming across this post and blog… Happy birthday, you legend!
Today we made you proud.
