You all know that once I start talking about Lush, I never stop. It’s as though I don’t have a filter…
Anyway, this post is slightly different to my usual Lush posts because I’ll be discussing something which not many people write about – the fragrance line: ‘Greatest Hits’ – Lust in particular.
A powerful, unadulterated and sexy jasmine perfume. This delivers a long-lasting floral hit onto the skin, for those days (or nights) when you want to tempt and tantalise. Notes: Jasmine, ylang ylang, rose, vanilla, sandalwood.
Lust is my most preferred fragrance. The name is quite fitting actually seeing as I’ve been lusting after it for months! But, due to the fact that I had plenty of perfumes which were half-finished, it made it almost impossible to buy a new one without feeling guilty and/or wasteful.
Again, back to Lust! This is the only scent that seems to stick to me like a sweet smelling un-sticky glue. How do I know this? Well, for experimentation purposes, I tried spraying the stuff onto my clothes, and didn’t wash them for two days to see if the scent’d stay, it did.
Describing the smell of Lust is easy. I’d say that it’s between my mum’s two favourite flowers: jasmine and gardenia. One thing I will say is that it’s an extremely fragrant floral scent which is impossible to avoid.
The packaging is pretty cute. A thick glass bottle (various sizes to choose from) with a classic black-and-white drawing of a lady looking into a vintage, gold framed mirror.
It’s also the very first fragrance that I’ve tried and received compliments about. I don’t think I’ve ever recieved a compliment from wearing Britney Spears’ Maui or Jimmy Choo’s Exotic (without fishing for them, that is).
The price of Lush’s Lust ranges in terms of size. You can check out the various prices HERE! Also, if liquid spritzers ain’t your thing, you can purchase the small solid tin and rub and apply to an area of your choice.
Who wants another Lush review tonight? I’ll be writing one about the Lush skin tints after this! Stay tuned like a fish. #Tuna #PescatarianBants #YoureMyNemo #AllAboutThePlaice
