Holland & Barrett is my home away from home. I wouldn’t be surprised if I looked at my finances and realised that 95% of my monies per month went to Holland & Barrett. It’s like a retail charity that I sponsor. I’m paying for good health. I’m paying for organic produce. I’m paying for quality. So, yeah… I suppose it is a charity in a weird non-charity sort of way. 😆😂 (I’m not drunk, honest!)
Holland & Barrett stock Alive fruit vitamin chews. There are some for children, men and women. Each vitamin is packed with vitamins and nutrients that help with the healthy growth of its target market. For instance, in this instance, Women’s ones (which I purchased believe it or not) include Vitamins C, B6, B12 & Biotin for normal energy release and Vitamin D for normal bones as well as their unique dried blend of 26 fruits and vegetables.
All of the above ingredients aid to boost us ladies’ energy levels. I must admit that in Winter, my energy levels and the immune system drops considerably. However, since taking two of these a day, I’m a lot more energetic and feel a lot better in myself. My hair has grown too (albeit split ends, we can’t win ’em all…)
So – get yours tomorrow or after the Christmas and New Year celebrations, you won’t be disappointed. 💪
P.S. these soft chews do not contain gluten, soya, dairy, yeast, artificial flavours, colours or preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians.

YouCam Makeup is the next best thing since slice bread, unless you’re partially gluten intolerant like me.
Castor Oil vs Coconut oil… Which one do you use? If you answered neither, that’s fine, but which one would you choose?
In a similar report published by The Little Health Company they chose to put Coconut Oil up against the equally wonderful Olive Oil (as opposed to Castor Oil) and Coconut Oil won the battle! #WellOilBeDamned
Coconut Oil edges it in our opinion. It’s nourishing properties will leave your hair looking healthy and vibrant will feeling soft and the smell is divine.
The pros of using Castor Oil:
Castor Oil is a thick, stick oil that prevents hair loss by coating strands and helps them stay firmly attached to the root.
It’s is considered an anti-bacterial and anti-fungus which means: in the unlikely event that someone throws mushroom seeds on your hair, you won’t see Portobellos or Shiitakes spurting out later on. #GIrlsJustWannaHaveFUN
Being rich in Omega 3 and fatty acids makes Castor Oil a great contender if you’re looking for an oil to strengthen your nails, hair and/or skin.
This oil also makes your hair glossy but almost too shiny (if overused).
Castor Oil is cost-effective and a little it goes a long way.
The pros of using Coconut Oil:
Coconut Oil stops and prevents dandruff. Similar to Castor Oil, it too is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial – just don’t try cleaning your hands with it after eating, shaking a flu-stricken person’s hand and/or getting off a mode of public transport, it’s oil NOT sanitiser.
This essential oil is also good at protecting against hair shedding and/or head lice thanks to its Vitamins E and K content.
Massaging Coconut Oil into the scalp improves blood circulation, ensures that oxygen is absorbed and strengthening the hair follicles resulting in soft, strong and healthy hair.
It also improves the hair cuticle whilst keeping the scalp moisturised, prohibiting dust and pollution.
Its high in fatty acids nature supplies the hair with protein which helps retain strength and eliminates breakage.
Coconut Oil is one of the very few oils that has what it takes to fix split ends as well as repair damaged hair from root to tip while also smoothening rough, coarse or fizzy hair. #ItsMAGICYouKnow
