Hello, again!

Top of the morning/evening/afternoon/dusk/dawn (and/or whatever, wherever, whenever you are) to you!

Yesterday morning, I ran a bath to end all baths… I took time to wonder about whether or not I wanted to write this post afterwards, and then I just thought… Let’s do it!

So, here it is… Brace yourselves like a teenager at their local¬†orthodontists.

LUSH Green coconut jelly

I’ve never actually seen it in store, so I’m not sure if it’s new… (Of course this can only mean one thing… I ordered it online)

But, Oh. My. Lord … is it or is it not the best bath bomb that I have had the pleasure of dropping into my tub?! It is: EVERYTHING and then some! From the smell, to the consistency… The colours, the patterns… It is EVERY DARN THING.

Set sail to the tropical island of your dreams. Lie back on the soft sand, the warm waters lapping at your feet, the breeze scented like tropical fruits. Climb into your bath and pop in this king of coconuts. Jelly leisurely spreads across the water, softening as it goes. Condition your skin with coconut cream and bask in the warmth that a cinnamon leaf undercurrent brings. Relax and refresh yourself in your own little piece of paradise.

Yeah, so… It smells like pure coconut. It feels like a hard shell of powder soapy goodness (as the majority of LUSH bath bombs do) but it also has green polka dot patterns that feel like squidgy jelly to touch.

The process is simple… As with all bath products, you just drop it in water to experience the fizz. This one releases a bright green hue, turning your whole bath into a park (in liquid form). Legit: WOWZERS!

It’s a sight to see, that cannot be unseen. So serene, and smelling so exotic… If you close your eyes, you could probably even imagine yourself in the Caribbean with a Pina Colada in one hand and a volleyball in the other – going for fun frolics at the beach… Then, you snap out of it real quick when you hear someone yelling because they can’t find their socks outside!

Once the bath bomb melts entirely (or as much of ‘entirely’ as it can), white jelly-like clusters come up to the surface… Mmmmm! I’m guessing that’s where all the coconut cream is (because it smelled like it)… I rubbed the jelly on my arms and let me tell you now… My arms feel so smooth, and still have a natural, healthy (not green) glow to them.

There you/me/we/they have it… If you’re looking to add a very neutral, exotic serenity to your bathing rituals, choose Green Coconut Jelly! It’s (very) good, I promise.

Also, if you’re into munching on a Tide pod, but are vegan… Green Coconut Jelly is vegan… DON’T MUNCH ON THAT!
