Diorskin Star is the star of every girl’s makeup bag… ⭐️
This foundation is without a doubt a top contender for the best that I’ve tried. Okay, I know I say it a lot but it’s true. I love it. Essentially, Diorskin Star is a highlighter and foundation in one.
Inspired by the professional illuminating techniques and expertise of its makeup artists, Dior invents Diorskin Star, its 1st brightening foundation: a weightless fluid capable of instantly and lastingly recreating the spectacular and perfecting light of Dior studios.
The packaging is beautiful. It comes in a standard Dior glass bottle with a classic black lid. There’s also a standard little pump presser to get the liquid foundation out. I’ve got to say though that Dior Star’s pump is better than some that I’ve used.
Although Diorskin also have a concealer (pictured above) in the range Star too, you can be sure that the foundation itself has a medium-full coverage depending on how many times you apply. Overall, the coverage is just how I like it and the result is a dewy finish which is light-reflective when taking selfies.
The flawless second skin that it gives you is enough to make even the most self-esteem lacking person the confidence to go out and enjoy their day. Apparently, the foundation was made with the “studio lights” in mind. It’s supposed to give you that dewy glow that you’d get it if you were on a photoshoot, you pretty model, you! 😉
The shade range is pretty diverse as well, so you’re bound to find one if you mix two or purchase the one (if you’re lucky).
The scent of Diorskin Star reminds me of perfume but I don’t find it strong at all. (I’m also not sure why we bloggers discuss the smell of something which we put on our face for makeup but there you go).
It’s approximately £33 but it’s £33 well spent if you ask me. It lasts an extremely long time too as a little goes a long way.
