Kylie Cosmetics: Dirty Peach

🍑 🍑 🍑

Dirty Peach is my favourite lip-stain right now! I have been wearing it for well over two months (and am sad to say that I’ve almost run out 😭).

The #KylieCosmetics Lip Kit is your secret weapon to create the perfect ‘Kylie Lip.’ Each Lip Kit comes with a Matte Liquid Lipstick and matching Lip Liner. Dirty Peach is a mid-tone yellow peach.

Kylie Jenner, 19 years old, is a fashionista and cosmetics entrepreneur who’s famed for being the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan (not to mention being at the centre of speculation for getting cosmetic procedures done at the age of 16).

Kylie Jenner

Her changing facial features – which she first tried to pass off as being down to “discovering good make up” and finding “new ways of doing makeup” – were actually the result of lip fillers.

Now, I’m not against lip fillers at all, God knows I need them more than most but I do think that she should’ve waited until she was older before getting them done. When I have children, I’ll teach them to love themselves and to be confident (something I’m sure Kris has done). But, then again, the whole family are used to turning to cosmetic surgery for comfort so it doesn’t come as too much of a surprise. What’s more, I’m sure growing up with a sister like Kim Kardashian only added to her wants of achieving perfection (not that it should’ve).

In my opinion, Kylie Jenner was stunning even before she got her lips enhanced. Then again, who am I to comment?

Anyway, we’re not here to discuss her (or her family’s) interest in plastic surgery because she’s old enough to make her own decisions and should therefore be allowed to do what she wants. Instead, I’m here to discuss her fast selling lip kits.

I own a few: 22 was my first, then I got Dolce K followed by Dirty Peach.

22 (on me) looked like how  Mary Jo would on everyone else, I’m not sure why considering it’s meant to be a burnt orange tone…

Dirty Peach though.. WOW! 😍 I love, love, love it. It’s a pale but bright orange (if that makes sense?). Although it’s targeted at being more of a Summery colour, I’ve been wearing it in the Autumn and prefer to because I find that it brightens up my skin tone.

In terms of comparisons, I’m sure that it’s a lighter version of the new Pumpkin which Kylie released recently.

Similarly to all the other lip kits and liquid lipsticks out there, the result really depends on your skin’s unique colour undertone as well as the state of your natural lips. If you want a brighter and bolder lip colour, exfoliate and moisturise your lips then apply the lip liner followed by the liquid lipstick.

Kylie doesn’t just produce lip kits, she also sells eyeshadow, eyeliner and metallic and nude lipglosses. I’m hoping that foundation, concealer, and highlight / contour pallets are not too far off seeing as she’s planning to open her first flagship store of Kylie Cosmetics in the states.
