As you know, the secret to gorgeous skin lies behind a good cleanser, toner and moisturiser. At £8.50 for 250g, LUSH CosmeticsTea Tree Water is the best of its kind. I love this product because it’s a light, multi-purpose spray that instantly dries revealing softer, calmer skin in seconds.

It’s packed with antibacterial, anti-fungal and antimicrobial agents which work to banish and prevent breakouts. With water taken from tea tree, grapefruit and juniper-berry, this toner clears, invigorates, refreshes and balances the oils in your skin. Other ingredients include: *Limonene, Perfume, and Methylparaben.

LUSH says:

Keep skin clear and refreshed. Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic and helps keep skin clean and clear. Use any time of day to keep skin refreshed, or to remove traces of makeup or cleanser.

My verdict?

LUSH’s Tea Tree Water has been a saviour for my acne-prone and combination skin. I noticed that my spots appeared reduced after just one spray. What’s more, it moisturised and hydrated my skin pretty quickly, soothing my breakouts and absorbing the excess oils. I don’t just use it as a toner, I spray it on top of my make-up to set it in place as well.

My favourite thing about this product is that it comes in a classy looking black bottle [typical of LUSH] with a spray cap. I find this a lot more hygienic than applying the water with cotton balls or by hand.

I’d give it a 5***** rating because this is one of the very few toners that has not had an adverse effect on my skin. I love that it carries on working day after day, week after week and month after month! Plus, it’s got to be said that I am fore everything that LUSH stands for – natural, herbal products that are organic, free from parabens and never tested on animals.
